Café La Colonnade

Cute & Classic French cafe -bistro opposite the Louvre ! Food is exceptionally good given its location ( usually most places in tourist areas offer good location only) plus value of food and quality ! Friendly family run staff who speak English as well as French Try the breakfast « formula « or the lunch ( or dinner ) I’ve tried all 3 ) a French cafe who make a good « cafe crème »( flat white ) is a winner in my view!

Good food, quick service, nice vibes sitting on the street overlooking the back side of the Louvre. The burger and fries were great!

The worst service. We came for some drinks and the waiter was so rude. He knocked over the coasters and did a terrible job serving us with a terrible attitude. Never come back!

This joint is lovely. Everything we ordered was terrific, from the coffees to the Mousse. The staff were very helpful and gracious, and to top it off … they found my wife’s purse that we left behind and kept it safe for us. We didn’t even know we lost it, until we passed by the cafe hours later, and their staff recognized us … and let us know it was there. Amazing! We are here during the Olympic opening, and they must be seeing thousands of people. We were so taken by this good fortune, we stayed for some more drinks and desert. I really loved this place. Most importantly, they helped make this simple meal a true joy for my kids and wife. This is why I love France. The simple things in life should be a celebration, and they deserve to be cherished. Bravo my bros from other hos! Keep up the terrific work!! Complements to chef! Best quiche I’ve ever had. Better than mine!!!

I ate an afternoon snack here with my daughter and everything was great! Very friendly people and feels like right at home! Merci!

We were a party of five and stopped in for lunch and so glad that we did! The food was really good and the service was even better! We can't remember their names the the guys were great! They went above and beyond to make sure we had all that we needed and they spoke great English. We all got various sandwiches and we all liked them. The prices are good for what you get. Would highly recommend and will be back when in the area. The were great on all fronts, great food, great service, nice atmosphere, and the bathrooms were great too! Stop in and give them a chance to earn your praise as well.

The food was out of this world! Perfect onion soup, then cloud-like quiche and chocolate mousse - just brilliant! I've also found a delicious drink to pair with it - the passionfruit prosecco. The Staff is super caring, always happy to serve you with a smile :) and the view for the Louvre - a dream place! It was so great that we visited 3 times in a row. One breakfast and two dinners. Chapeau bas!
